“Grads Within Reach Walk” – Sept. 6, 2014

Mighty Panthers,

It is that time again to reach out, encourage, and ensure that all our students return back to school this academic year to continue, complete their high school graduation requirements, and move on to college as we expect them to. Hence, we are appealing to you to mark your calendar and block out just two hours for us on Saturday, September 6, 2014 as a volunteer to conduct  home visits with us.

Quite frankly, this home visit exercise will provide you firsthand experience as you navigate our zoned surroundings. It will further enlighten you to better understand the realities and potential difficulties our scholars face. Finally, it is a very encouraging and rewarding activity to engage in as we remain singularly focused to see all of our students do well.

I have attached the link for your registration. Please, do select Davis High School for all three options. As a school, we are required to have at least thirty staff members volunteer, show up, and participate in the walk. Breakfast will be served and water will be provided to quench your thirst as you drive and walk. Thank you in advance for volunteering. Our gratitude holds no bounds with you for all that you do diligently to support all students! Here is the link. As you register, click that you have participated before and no training is required. I will train you if needed.
