Jeff Davis High School and the surrounding  area were alive with activity Saturday with The Carlton Cadette Reunion The Commons Area and the annual ‘El Sabor del Northside’ held just across the street at  Leonel Castillo Park.

JDHAA was well represented at this event hosted annually by 1966 JDHS graduate Judy Graham.  The event turned out almost 200 Jeff Davis grads and their guests. The venue, food, fellowship, and the weather (especially) were WONDERFUL. Thank you Judy!

It’s with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of Sal Esparza today at 12 noon.

Sall was a Davis graduate from the class of 1956 and was a co-founder of our organization, The Jefferson Davis Hispanic Alumni.
